Next season of Smallville promises two new villains and one guest villain. All this transpired in the wake of the recent announcement of “Lex Luthor” Michael Rosenbaum that he was leaving Smallville this off season. Obviously, this has left the producers with a big hole to fill up. It certainly did not come easy for all of these to work given the fact that Lex Luthor played a major role in the success of the Series. Two months after Rosenbaum’s announcement, they finally came out with Maxima, the role will be played by Charlotte Sullivan. And the two additional villainy villains will come in the form of Doomsday and Tess Mercer. It is rumored that the 8th Season will possibly be the last season for the superhero.
