An irritable and very abusive football coach, obsessed with winning, discovers that he has the ability to make flames as his power because of the kryptonite rocks he uses in his sauna. He makes use of his newfound powers to get rid of anyone who might get in the way with his campaign to win the championship. In the meantime Clark wants to be part of the football team. But Lana wants to leave the cheering squad being her as cheerleader and become a waitress.

Chloe and the school principal are both harassed by the coach. Clark help them both the escape from villain coach. As soon as Clark confronts the coach he was knocked down into the sauna and poison by the rocks that have radiation. Clark was rescued by his father and the coach blown up because his power was failed against Clark.
