Part of the success of the television series Smallville is attributed to the loyal following of its audience. This following can be attributed to the fact that the audience grew up in the years of DC comics. These were the young kids who were buying the comic books then just to know what will happen next to their favorite superhero. This kind of following has grown up and shifted from the comic book to the television screen.
